Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" I'd make sure I was there, at the tracks, telling her to snap out of it, to sell her jewels, and fly be free, to start her life over in Paris. Basically, I'd rewrite most classics, creating endings that empowered, rather than punished strong women.
