What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kim Harrison Best thing about being a writer apart from being creative all day is being in control my day--most times. Having done the 9-5, I throughly appreciate being able to take a day off after a week of rain and spend it in the yard, or have a long lunch when my mom visits, or just being home to take care of an ailing puppy without worrying that I won't have a job when I go back to work.
