Of all the characters you've brought to life on the pages of various stories and novels, is there one that you hold dear above all others? One you relate to and see the most of yourself in?

Which character do I hold dear above all others? That's a tough one, mostly because the ones I hold dear are usually the ones most unlike me. I suppose Al is the character who still speaks to me on a regular basis, whether I'm writing him or not. He's just so tragic, his own worst enemy, which does make us a lot alike.
Most of the characters I write have different facets of me in them. Jenks likes to garden because I do. Matalina fights to the death, because I would. Rachel stands up to a bully because I hope I would, and Trent tries to get away with everything because life is more fun when you have a secret, and so on.

I would just like to ask where it will fit on the timeline? Will it be set between the books already out, in the 25 year gap at the end of the 13th book or after that?
