Have you ever thought of writing a book on Mental health issues? I think you would be a great author to write a book on Schizophrenia or Split Personality. Especially from the POV of the person with that health concern (and them not knowing they struggled with that at first!)

Lisa Genova Hi Taija--Yes! My next novel will be about someone with bipolar disorder, told from her perspective. Schizophrenia is definitely on my radar as well.

Hi Lisa- I am a huge fan of your books. Both of my grandfathers had Alzhemier's and Still Alice really helped me to understand what they were going through. Also, I work with children and adults who have Autism so Love Anthony moved me. I am wondering where you get your inspiration from. Especially when writing abut specific disorders/ diseases? I was just going to suggest bipolar or addiction, as these are two mental illnesses we are seeing more and more. Addiction and alcoholism is very hard for people to understand and I’m always advocating for people to write about them to help non-addicts understand why we can’t just stop. Hopefully you will consider this???
