Goodreads asked L.L. Thomsen:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

L.L. Thomsen I am not really often afflicted with writers' block, but more of a tendency to procrastinate. I am super good at getting sidetracked on the usual social media and I suppose the need for an indie author to self-promote has a great deal to do with that. However, the best 'cure' is simply to open my current draft and read a few pages of what I last worked on to sort of get my bearing and to get my head in gear, and then I'm usually good to go. Crucially, writers' block can happen at any time though and the best way to get through it is either to have a good stint on Deviant Art and/or Pinterest to get inspiration from all the pictures and sketches. When writers' block happens I always try to write regardless because it will keep my imagination focussed and my head working and soon after the 'knot' seems to untangle and I'm good to go once more.
