Hi, Melanie! I started into your books on Kobo within the last two months-ish. Not sure if you stated this, was Gabe/Valten's relationship reminiscent of The Prodigal Son? That struck me in the Snow White & Cinderella-based books. Scripture doesn't say a lot about the "other prodigal son." I didn't see on your site, figured I'd ask. It did occur to me that Gabe and Valten's relationship was a bit like the prodigal and his older brother who stayed home, but that wasn't really main vibe or storyline for them. It is fun to see different things in different relationships and characters each time you read a book--if you happen to read them more than once. Thanks for telling me your observation!
