Absolutely loved your book and writing style! Am impatiently awaiting your next one in 2020. In the meantime, to pass some time, who are some of your favorite authors/inspirations that you'd recommend as closest to your style?

Stuart Turton Thanks very much! Not sure about closest to my style, but some of my favourite authors are Raymond Chandler, Arundhati Roy, Barbara Kingsolver, and Agatha Christie. I definitely channelled bits of all of them when writing the book.

Just read "Murder at the End of the World," and am almost done immediately re-reading it. Don't know how I missed "The Devil and the Dark Water," but it's next (after a 3rd read of Hardcastle). Is there a Blackheath in it? (If not I'm DONE with you!) Keep 'em coming. 8,000 characters, 700 mysteries, and 9,000,000 missed clues, these are the kinds of novels I need. Every 4 years is fine, just don't stop.

Does listening to the audiobook of 7 1/2 deaths do the book justice? Will I be missing something? I know there is a map that comes with the novel and I worry that not being able to go back and forth will make me lose some information.
