Hi Kim, I was wondering if you could clarify the truth about Al’s real name. In Sudden Backtrack (and the main books later on if I remember correctly), Gally is supposedly his real name. In Bespelled he says that was the nickname Ceri gave him. Now I’m reading The Turn and he just told Daniel to call him Gally, “Though that’s not my name.” Which is it? Oh, and I can’t wait for more Hollows books! <3

It'a Algaliarept, of course! Gally is is "call" name, so to speak, until Rachel calls him Al, and he decides to be known by that instead.

More Hollows books are on the way. Keep an eye out for AMERICAN DEMON. :-)

I'm re-reading White Witch, Black Curse. Pierce knew Trent's dad. Mia knew Pierce and a lot of key characters. I'm so curious if they will emerge in your prequel novel(s). From other novels, it also seems that Trent's great-grandmother knew Al, as did his mother. Her spelling hut sounds like a peaceful space, not fearful. I'm wondering if Al had friendlier relationships with those who summoned him before the Turn?
