Goodreads asked P.B. Cannon:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

P.B. Cannon If it means not being able to write anything, I don't think I've ever had writer's block. Occasionally, I've found myself temporarily unable to take a story where I want it to go. When that happens, I lay it aside and start another story. Eventually, the way to advance on the original manuscript comes to me and I find I can move on to the next part. Probably why I always have more than one story going at a time.

If that method doesn't work (and sometimes it doesn't) I simply keep writing until I come up with what is needed (I once did nearly a hundred thousand words this way, part of which became another book when none of it was what I needed for my current work!).
