Hello Melanie, I am definite book lover and I have to say that you are by far one of my favourite authors! I was just curious about Thornbeck series and The Golden Braid though. Is Sir Gerek related to anyone from the Thornbeck reigon? Because I noticed that Thornbeck takes place before all of the Hagenheim books, except the Merchants Daughter.

Melanie Dickerson Hi, Josephine! Sir Gerek is not related to anyone in the Thornbeck region, that I know of. ;-) I did mention Thornbeck in The Golden Braid, but otherwise, I did not intermingle the two series. Thanks for asking!
