Don't be afraid to share your work. If you get criticism, take a few days to think about it. Maybe what you wrote wasn't what you meant to write. Or maybe a sentence or two will clear up the motivation. Also, learn your craft. I did a lot of online courses and the feedback on the assignments was great.
