I've read two newly published titles by Goodreads authors: "Alina: A Song for the Telling" by Malve Von Hassell a wonderful YA historical fiction that places women in medieval history, bringing alive the 12th century; Spirit Quest 1969 by Ronald Schultz, an amazing memoir; you all know about "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt -- mixed feelings about that. I'm working on "We Are Not Ourselves" by Matthew Thomas.
