Hello Nadia, I love your work, and I'm waiting impatiently (ha!) for your new one. I couldn't believe it when I read "pediatrician and mom of four." What on earth??? How do you make that even possible? I'm tired just thinking about it!

Nadia Hashimi Ah, Lisa. I'm tired too. :) I'm am an aspiring juggler just like so many other working parents. Or humans in general. At this time (especially with 4 kids in virtual school until recently), I've not been a pediatrician. And over the years, I've had the support of my family and amazing nannies to help wrangle / feed / clothe / entertain/ teach the kiddos. I couldn't do it without them and I'm still tired but doing what I love - writing - feeds my soul. I hope you have time in your day for what feeds your soul. :)

I wish the book would have ended with some factual information about women's progress in Afghanistan to-date. A mention of perhaps a trustworthy organization that helps with women's rights there would have been great. The comment on the 9-11 attacks was mentally provoking. Would you consider a 2nd book I touching on the Afghanistan's view of America, Americans, and our involvement in the war?
