I have my happy places, like hikes in the Colorado mountains. A walk in the woods can do wonders to get the creative juices flowing. Sometimes I'll have a turning point I have to work out. Since my books are set here, I'm also gathering impressions for future passages. I'm lucky I don't get lost and fall off mountains. So far so good.
