When was the time that you realize yourself as a writer and you want to a writer till the end of your life?

I first realized that I wanted to be a writer when I was a very young child, Marila. I was an avid reader very early on and it seemed to me that it would be a lot of fun to be the person writing books as well as reading them.

So James, I am intrigued by the Governor's wife's letters from Montana. I can't tell if it is a print on demand title, which would allow me to look at it. Can you give me a little info on how you found & ended up publishing the letters? Published in 1976 sounds like it would have been a college project. Very cool. And how enterprising of you.

Have you read any of Jonathan Dunsky's books? The main character is a PI holocaust survivor from Hungary who spent time in Auschwitz. The series takes place in Tel Aviv in the early 1950s.
