Thank you for accepting questions. I love your books and am in awe of the wonderful plots and characters and all the work you put into them. I love the darkness of them, I love Barbara's mishaps, but find sadness in them as well because she is alone. I love the social issues. Your books make life better for me, and I'm sure for countless others. What is your personal favorite Lynley and Havers mystery and why?

My favorite is In the Presence of the Enemy. It leaps out of the starting gate and never lets up. I'm also always fond of whatever book I'm writing.

I listened to your interview with Laurie Frankel. Lynley #22 will play out in Corfu? Also curious about the influx of twins. Isabelle Ardery has identical twins, Daidre Trahairn has fraternal twins as siblings. Add on Mignon and Mannette in Believing the Lie and Angelina & Batsheeba in Just One Evil Act. Why so many twins? If you bring back both Isabelle Ardery and Dairde you bring back two sets of twins. Why?
