Goodreads asked Jeffrey D. Keeten:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jeffrey D. Keeten I believe that writers have to write and when they deny this part of themselves they will be haunted by that need for the rest of their lives. That creative part of your brain has to be fed and even if the rest of your life is taken up by work, family etc. You must carve out some time every day to jot down some lines. Don't be discouraged by bad writing or plot problems because all of it can be fixed just relax and give your mind time to puzzle on it. Eventually a solution will present itself. Keep thinking! Keep writing!
