Any advice for first time writers?

Ally Shields Nothing new, I'm afraid. Know your main characters well enough that you can imagine how they will feel and react in every situation. Write as often as you can. And then be persistent in getting your story to readers. My first book was rejected by agents 167 times. :) Now I have 7 published.
