I have just finished reading Crown Duel and the Trouble With Kings for the umpteenth time, and I couldn’t help but notice how similar they are. You can draw direct comparisons between all the main characters and plot points. Was this something you did intentionally or was it subconscious?

Sherwood Smith Heh! Unconscious--I was 20 when I wrote the first one (finished two years later) and a couple years older when I wrote the second. In my head they were completely different stories saying different things. When I typed them up decades later, I did notice the similarities, then thought, well, they are what they are. Maybe readers won't mind.

Hello, I just recently discovered your work "Inda" and so far I enjoy the ebook version alot. However lately I have less time for ebooks/print version of books and more time for audiobooks. I cant seem to find an audiobook version of "Inda" anywhere. Is there none or have the rights expiered? Or do you or DAW have them but havent commissioned one yet? Nicolai Norway

Where potty training is learning a spell - do newborn babies wear diapers/nappies? Are they cleaned by other spells? I know at least once you had an injured person glad to wake up in time to do the spell, so I infer that there was a chance others couldn't do it for her.
