hi Jodi, my question is... what advice would you give to somebody with no writing experience except maybe from school, who might consider writing a book? also was it hard getting published for the first time? A lack of experience should never stop you from pursuing it. I had no previous writing experience whatsoever. I wrote This Man for me alone, so I literally did what the hell I pleased without worrying what people might think because I never planned on sharing it. I think that did me a huge favour. Getting published came unexpectedly after the success of This Man. :-) If you wanted to, you could submit your manuscript to agents and have self-publishing as a back up :-)
