Jon Messenger I'd be lying if I said I had a format. For some series like World Aflame, it's obviously inspired by Avatar: the Last Airbender. Others, like the new Magic & Machinery series, I just wanted to delve into something completely unique. I love the Sherlock Holmes books and wanted to introduce that style of character into a combination of steampunk and fantasy. I'm glad you're enjoying my books!
