Goodreads asked Ariele Sieling:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ariele Sieling Practice, practice, practice. Write what you can, when you can, without judgement or fear of failure. Just keep at it.

I think there's this false idea, because everyone learns to "write" in school, that it's easy. But writing, especially novel-length work, is a lot more like running a marathon than running a sprint. So practice, try different stuff, figure out what you're good at, train your brain, rest when you need to, but most of all, keep at it.
