Where did you get the inspiration for the Pippa Greene Series? I love it!!!

Chantel Guertin Hi Talia! Good question. When I decided to write a YA book, I wanted to write something that was both sad and funny. I also wanted there to be romance. And I'd just bought myself a Canon Rebel camera and was taking lessons to learn how to take good pictures as a creative outlet other than writing. I came up with the idea of a girl who takes photos, and sees the world through her lens, and then meets a boy who's sick, only she doesn't know he's sick. That led to Pippa being a volunteer at the hospital and meeting him. After I wrote the first book, my publisher asked if I wanted to turn it into a series, so from there I started thinking of other things that could happen to Pippa after book 1 ended!
