Hey Melanie! What advice do you have for a beginning writer doing NaNoWriMo?

Hi, Halee! I've never really done NaNoWriMo, although I have probably written close to 50,000 words in a 4-week time when I was on deadline. But my advice would be to be sure you do the prep work before it starts. As for me, that would mean making sure I have a very rough outline of a plot in my head, including knowing roughly how the story will end and several big turning points or events along the way, as well as my main characters' backstory. Also, make sure you have decided to give up most of your TV watching and extracurriculars, and write every chance you get. Good luck! I wish you the best!

I know from our last conversation that there will only be three books in the Thornbeck series and the Regency series. But what will you be writing after the Hagenheim series is finished? Will you be writing another series?
