How do you get inspired to write?

Dianne Astle My path to writing was not a typical one. I was not someone who always wanted to be a writer. I was happy doing other things with my life. I was not a writer looking for a story, but a person who had a story come and take up residence in their heart and mind. Before long the characters were demanding that I write them into being. And that was all right, because when I thought of them a smile would start in my heart and travel up to my face.
