Write. Keep writing. Don't worry about getting it right or pulling it together all at once. Just write. The more you write, the better you will get. And enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it, then try sculpture or photography. Because if there is no joy in the writing, what's the point? Reject the romantic stereotype of the tortured writer!
