I saw that you started this book during Nanowrimo 2012? How long did it take you to get edited and published since then??

Dan Koboldt Dan, great question. It took me about a year to complete the first draft, then 4 months to land a literary agent. Then 6 months of revisions/waiting before it went out. Then 9 months to get the offer, and 7 months to publication. So the complete timeline from first NaNo to published book was about 3 years.
