Howdy! Of course I've been learning a lot about story structure. Which has been very enlightening. But recently I've also been pondering the matter of storytelling. So I figured why not ask. What is the relationship between story structure and storytelling? Or is storytelling an umbrella term for everything? Or does storytelling have its own elements?

Storytelling, in my view, is more of an esoteric umbrella term. Storytelling is the act of making up a story. It applies to the guy at the bar talking to his buddies just as much as a novelist or screenwriter.
Storytelling is more the right-brain creative part of the process, while structure and other techniques are the left-brain logical side of the process, which streamline stories into their most powerful forms.

I love your newest story-craft book, "Creating Character Arcs." In my opinion, it is the best, most comprehensive book out there on character arcs. I've read it twice, taking notes the second time through. My question is, "Will there be an audiobook of Creating Character Arcs?" Listening to an audiobook version of this book would really solidify these complex concepts in my mind.

Just finished Wayfarer (very fun by the way!) and I was really impressed with the amount of research you must have done just to write the dialogue. I've been searching for sources for historic speech also, but have not had much luck. Is there a special resource somewhere that you can point your fans to, or did you do most of that research using novels of that period?
