Edit: In May 2016, I announced that Harper Voyager made an offer for that book and an as-yet-unwritten third volume, tentatively entitled The World Awakening. What do you think the sub genre is for "scientific fiction"? This is my favorite subject to write about. I like the challenge of opening an obscure or difficult subject and make it educational and interesting by making it entertaining. I've covered genetics, asteroids, AI, bubonic plague, chirality, DNA, I love it.
