Dear Melanie, I know that the books in your Hagenheim series can be read as standalones or as a series. I am just wondering which events happen first, the events in The Princess Spy of the events in The Golden Braid? Some events that happen in The Princess Spy have not yet happened in The Golden Braid but The Princess Spy is book 5 and The Golden Braid 6 so which books events happen first?

Hi, Mikayla! The events of The Princess Spy and The Golden Braid happen at the same time. The Golden Braid starts just a couple of months before The Princess Spy, then the two stories happen simultaneously, then The Golden Braid continues on for a couple more months after The Princess Spy, give or take a month or two. :-) I hope that makes sense!
