Hi Elizabeth, have you enjoyed the televised version of your Inspector Linley mysteries? Do you think they are true to your books?
Elizabeth George
I think the performances by Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small as Lynley and Havers captured the essence of the characters. I do wish the TV films had used the entire novel each time, however, instead of just using the crime. The novels are a big experience. The TV shows were not.

I just finished binging the Whidbey Island saga books and glad to read there will be book 5. Already pre-ordered Inspector Lynley 21, so understand we will have to wait to read what happens on Whidbey in the sequal. Hope all goes well with the writing process. Should you have an idea about the timeline, I (and probably all the fans) would be interested. Have you already started?
