Dirk Patton In the earlier books the 10% immune was an estimate made by researchers. The 99.99% infection rate is what was claimed by the scientists who created the virus. As you've found, the 10% estimate was proven to be wrong.

Where is DOG? I am about halfway through the first book and they had to ditch the truck and they are running for their lives and there is NO MENTION of Dog!!! Now there is tons of action as they are running from the herd and all I can think of is "They left Dog in the truck, what happened to Dog!!!" I am so distracted with Dog that I can't even enjoy what is going on......so Where is DOG? :(
