Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cathy Burnham Martin The passing of my mother's twin sister (often referred to by me as "My Other Mother," inspired me to finally finish "Destiny of Dreams: Time Is Dear." Now in her 90's, Mom stands as the last of three Gulumian sisters, all first-generation Americans of Armenian descent. I knew the story needed to be fully told while Mom is still with us.

The previous answer applies to "The Bimbo Has Brains... and Other Freaky Fact." That book's idea came during a Miss America Pageant -Patriots media event. A couple of men quipped that the contestants were a bunch of bimbos. I reminded them of the irony of that sort of thinking, since these young women are asked questions on issues from saving the planet to solving our racial divide... Quandaries that stump world leaders. I suggested that they watch out because these "bimbos" have brains.
