Here's a question: if you're eating French fries in MacDonalds and one falls on the floor, do you pick it up and eat it? I definitely do.

Ewwwww!!!!! I go into McDonald's in my vet kennel shoes! Do you know what's on the bottom of those things?!?!? I do NOT EVER wear them in the house!!!

Oooooh!! I got a copy of Insurgent at the library yesterday, after pestering the librarian about it's location enough that she found it for me :D I'm so excited to start!

EEEWW! That is so disgusting! Have you seen the floor? I mean, maybe it is different in Australia, but you do not eat anything off of the floor in a macca's store! Regardless of any 3 second rules, you do not do it! You'll get, I dunno, a disease!

Sure! I'll just go read...be back...in.... seventy eight minutes and thirty two seconds and in that time I may or may not have read it all ;)

I've watched all of wolverine and the xmen. The ending is slightly cliffy, so if there isn't a second series being made, imma be REAL mad.

Oh, I am partway through, but loaned my copy to my sister to read, and so have not yet finished it... But I will! :)

Oh yeah.
Bobby- "Wait till I- oh, looks like Logan was here already and boy did he have fun!"

Idk if I remembered that right having watched it last year, but....being someone who found out recently that I probably have borderline personality disorder.....I'm very much like Wolverine in temper. *sheepish grin*

Hahahahaha. It's the first of the two part episode bit where that alien kidnaps Logan, Nightcrawler, and The Scarlet Witch. :)
And water off my back Emily lol.

I have a tendency to fly off the handle. Like instantaneously. Over even little things. And other not so great stuff. But I only know this because one of my goodreads groups is Crazy People of the World, and one of the games was "See How Crazy You are" where you actually take this personality disorder test. Of course the test tells you it's not a doctor and doesn't make a diagnosis, but haha, I think if every disorder shows up as low symptoms, and then that one say Very High....I probably have it.

And that was pretty random, but should you ever see me going at something like Wolverine, now you know why lol. ;)

Who thinks Katniss would be a good romantic match for Samwise Gamgee.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

The Mighty Katara wrote: "... poor Sam lol."

agreed.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Katniss is a little bit crazy, and doesn't seem to be capable of love. At the end of the third book (view spoiler) I feel really sorry for Peeta.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

The Mighty Katara wrote: "[spoilers removed]"

I agree with that! But still, he was a little bit delusional, and (view spoiler)

It would have made me less likeable too in I was in that position ;)

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

True.

Nup, you have officially changed my mind. I don't feel sorry for Peeta anymore, but I don't for Katniss either.

I am entirely impartial to them both :D

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, probably.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

The Mighty Katara wrote: "True. But Peeta was more evil than Katniss, she was just more of a jerk. Like Peeta [spoilers removed]"

Yeah, that'd be cute and kinda funny. Oh, BTW Danny, tell your sister she's misjudging Katniss and Peeta.

Really? Why not?

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Because...because....HOW On EARTH COULD YOU SAY YOU FEEL SORRY FOR PEETA?????!!!!!

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

LivvyLu[loves you!] wrote: "Because...because....HOW On EARTH COULD YOU SAY YOU FEEL SORRY FOR PEETA?????!!!!!"

Oh! Right! well, to be quick and short and to the point, I guess I just think that it sucks for him how he has to put up with so much bad treatment and he goes crazy and tries to kill Katniss, who he loves, and he seems to have a pretty unfair part in the Games, and I like Josh Hutcherson (who played Peeta in the movie)

HOWEVER!: Peeta is the type of guy who I despise, and he definitely made some bad choices which made stuff go bad for him. And really, if he wasn't a moron and grew a pair, then he would definitely have been more likeable

Sure, there were good parts and bad parts in the books that made me like him and not like him.

But I have decided to be neutral
NO FEELINGS!!!

Lol I'll pretend I didn't. But I think I got it, even though I'm a pathetic excuse for an 18 year old.

message 43: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 46 comments Haha, I've heard that expression before... I think you used it in the wrong context... Anyways, I don't really like Peeta. He's just too... Nice. No one with that crappy (excuse my foul/birdy language there...) of a life can be that nice.
I mean seriously, the guy's mother pretty much thought he would die, and the girl who he was in love with wanted to get as far away from him as possible.
That has to grant someone a time to feel angsty and angry...
Plus, he was kind of a wimp... He never actually did anything rather physical, other than throw a heavy thing and drag himself somewhere to cover himself in mud... (Although in the movie that was really cool. I tip my hat off to the make-up artists.)

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

JazzyJams wrote: " Anyways, I don't really like Peeta. He's just too... Nice. No one with that crappy (excuse my foul/birdy langu..."

Yeah :) I agree with that, and I think that it was kinda just unnatural that he still loved Katniss after all that anyway.

The mud was so cool in the movie :D

message 45: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 46 comments Peeta is by reason, unnatural... Well he is named after a type of bread that is round and flat and relatively boring... I don't know that relates to anything... Oh well...

I know right! That was very cool... They got that bit just right... I also loved the training room before the Games. If I was allowed to run around that place for a day I would die a happy person.

Oh my goodness!! That is so fantastic! I never thought of it like that before, but now I see you have a point!! :D

that training room was the stuff of dreams :) mine, anyway

message 47: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 46 comments I know... I just googled "peeta bread" and you don't even get a picture of actualy peeta bread. Just a pile of Hunger Games stuff... Joy... Although I did like Peeta in the movie...

message 48: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
That would be cuz it's Pita bread Jazzy lol course you're gonna get THG if you spell it like the character and not the bread!

message 49: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 46 comments Agh, I can't even remember how to spell Pita bread... My life is officially pathetic...

And I agree with the training room! I would LOVE that place! It should exist for camps or something...

message 50: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyjams) | 46 comments Okay, I just googled Pita bread, and the universe is now normal again... Thank god(s)...
