Yay! :) I won't be offended if it's not your type o music, but I just think its awesome. Even when it stuck in my head lol. Like it is now.

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) Lecrae's pretty good I have to admit.
I love soundtracks myself. Anything by Hans Zimmer (Batman, Inception, Gladiator...) and then Narnia did have a good soundtrack (they had Switchfoot do one song at the end for Prince Caspian so of course it's good). So does Lord of the Rings. The only 'techno' style soundtrack I like is that from Tron Legacy, Daft Punk did a great job with that one.

Tron legacy's soundtrack is AWESOME! I have some of the music, listen to it all the time. Hans Zimmer is pretty much my hero (he also did Sinbad, which had a great soundtrack).

O_O I love that!!!

message 159: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, I listen to the Tron Legacy soundtrack, but the rest is more up my big bro's alley. *shrugs* Oh well, I'm cool with my swanky music.

message 160: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) My favourite Lecrae is 'Identity' personally but it's one of his more Christian ones.

message 161: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
Oh I'm fully good with Christian. I'm Catholic, so it's great to hear his music cuz you don't get much out of pop. Nice beat but.....BAD lyrics.

Immorality litters nearly all current pop. I have to flip the station nearly all the time. Anything by J-Lo, Pitbull, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, etc generally have such topics that I'm going to shriek and scramble for the radio controls.

message 164: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) Yeah I know what you mean. As one friend put it 'the easy listening stations are no longer easy listening'.

message 165: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

No kidding!

:) I'm gonna ask you a really random and weird question now... What does " ϮAʛʛⅇℛʊℵʛ " mean?

message 170: by [deleted user] (new)

And I don't mean to seem rude if I do.

I'm just an insanely curious person.

It's the title/name of a Brian Jacques book character in the Redwall series. It's an awesome otter who's really good at knife throwing. REALLY good. He's awesome. And because I wa following moms rules, I couldn't use my real name, and I was really into the book at the time I made my account, so that's why I'm Taggerung lol.

message 172: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, that's cool. I think I am gonna read that book now ;D

message 173: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
You do that, its one of my favs of the entire series :)

message 174: by [deleted user] (new)

Will do then. I think a friend of mine told me about it, but I was trying to ignore him that day as much as possible because he kept insulting me. I was quite annoyed at him so I didn't really retain anything he said to me, but I will read the series :D

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes(view spoiler)

Oh, how many books are there?

message 176: by [deleted user] (new)

I knew it all along. :(

Really? 22 ? That is a lot, no wonder it got boring!

message 177: by [deleted user] (new)

Right, so if I don't like the first four, then I will probably hate the rest of them? I think I will probably like the first four, after looking them up :D

message 178: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh right :D well, I will read them and see how they treat me. Have you read them all?

message 179: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
I've read all of them except the last one, I started but had to return it before I could finish.

message 180: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
I didnt think it was, because I normally get hooked into them immediately but, that one seemed a touch hackneyed sadly. And I really wanted to like it cuz it was his last work *sniff*

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

ϮAʛʛⅇℛʊℵʛ {Lerman Lover} wrote: "I've read all of them except the last one, I started but had to return it before I could finish."

Don't you hate when that happens?

Yes gosh! Which is why i ended up paying $6 freaking dollars just so I could try to finish mockingjay for a second read, but I failed miserably. Stinging addicting fan fics and goodreads.

message 183: by [deleted user] (new)

Sometimes I just borrow too many books for the two-week borrowing period, and then can't read them all in time. It's rather annoying.

I almost got my library card suspended once for having too many books overdue and having not paid my fines. I got really angry at the librarian dude, and he told me (because he was actually a really nice guy) that he would just cancel the fines, and he did! I think he was the awesomest guy in forever :)

message 184: by [deleted user] (new)

Like, 20 or something :D

message 185: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
Same. Ugh, my library system is horrid with the fees. $0.30 a day! And the item can accrue up to $6 before they stop charging, then it goes Into limbo, then they'll charge you a big list fee I'd you don't return it. I just paid $10 in fees and that wasn't even half my total fine!

message 186: by [deleted user] (new)

The Mighty Katara wrote: "Maybe guy librarians are nicer... there are only female librarians at mine :("

Oh. That sucks for you, because the guy librarians are definitely nicer with the exception of one old man one, who ignores everyone, and this one lady is so nice and such a happy person that you can't help but love her!

Really? I put off paying my fees as long as I can when I get them, and then they send out these letters telling you the whole, "in case you were not aware, you owe $this much to the library because of this and this and this and this books being overdue by this many days and this much cost per book, blah blah blahblah"

message 188: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
Yeah I had ignored the fees. But it was thirty cents short of reaching the fee limit $25 in hicj case they bring in a collection agency and the fine gets bumped up $10 and you continue collecting fines on anything still checked out and overdue.

message 189: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh. Well, I probably would have paid it then too :)

message 190: by Taggerung, Fickle Maiden (new)

Taggerung | 112 comments Mod
*embarrassed laugh* it builds up. Especially when you have books sitting I the car that should have been returned ages ago but have been ignored by other people. And it's had too keep rack when you have 15 books out.

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

Don't be embarrassed, it just shows how wicked cool you are and how much your library should understand awesome people more ;D

message 192: by [deleted user] (new)

Man,. I'm too lazy to read all the posts. What'd I miss in the one and a half day/s I've been gone?

Is anyone else in this group having Thanksgiving today? Technically, Canadian Thanksgiving is tomorrow, but my brother's home today so we're having it now.
