Enjoy Predatory Game! I had to read it straight through!!
@Rebecca - I have the first one as well and am planning to read it next month. If you want to read it together - that would be great!

@Leslie - that's ok if neither cover work... I wasn't sure so I thought I would ask. I'm liking Predatory Game so far. I'm not sure if I read this one or not. When I first started I thought maybe I had but I think it was a different book with a night time DJ with a voice that affected others - not sure the title/series - think she had a twin sister.
What did you decide to do for dessert last night? My daughter liked the punch we made - my son not so much. My hubby took me out for dinner - it was wonderful. I had a Triple Ecstasy Martini - yummy 3 different types of chocolate liquer in it ☺

@Melissa - I am looking forward to it.
I am currently reading

@Rebecca - that would be great! Let me know when you want to read and I will set up a thread for it!
@Melissa - I made pound cake and cut up strawberries and blueberries and put some sugar on them and then served it together with some Vanilla Greek yogurt. My husband loved it! He grilled pork chops and we had roasted potatoes. It was lovely! And chocolate martini sounds awesome!! Anything chocolate works for me!

Sounds yummy!
I try to make sure my kids don't give up something that will affect all of us... such as ice cream. We as a family one year gave up soda or pop depending on what you call it. Simpler when all of us give someething up together.

I finished

Now I'm struggling with what to read. I'll probably start with

I have a question for Alley and the captains. Does

Finished another book just now.

Don't forget you can use alternative covers!
@Leslie - sure that cover works. It's clearly just one person

. Finding Frank is a page turner from the prologue to the very last page. Frank's story had me smiling, laughing and yes even crying at times. The book is very thought provoking as well as very sad that there are senoir citizens falling through the cracks here in the United States. Frank's story also hit close to home for me because my Husband and I will be two of the 71.5 million that will be over 65 yrs old by 2030 here in the US. I absolutely recommend that everyone read Finding Frank because it is very informative and very much eye opening.

Great job, Alley finding an alternate cover for Melissa. And thank you for okaying my book!
Leslie people will have to get it on Amazon in either paperback or for kindle. Here is the write up on amazon below.
A chance encounter; an unusual request; two lives inexorably transformed. When self-absorbed Brooke Blake uncharacteristically sheds her narcissistic armor, she discovers that the hand we lend may pave the way to our own redemption. Finding Frank is a perplexing hall of mirrors where every image reflects agonizing - though liberating - secrets. Frank was a Silver Orphan, one of 11 million seniors in the U.S. who live alone. Most still have family members, but about 15 percent of seniors who need care have no family support. By 2030, the number of people over age 65 will soar to 71.5 million - one in every five Americans. Yet, over half of America’s communities have not initiated preparation to deal with the aging population. Unless this situation is addressed, we will soon be engulfed in a tidal wave of Silver Orphans.

Leslie your mom will enjoy and love it. Itg is also a good read for young adults as well, everyone knows senoir citizens and sooner or later everyone is going to be one. I read the paperback and I received it as a galley offer.

Thanks for this - I hadn't heard of this book. I think I might order the paperback for myself and then bring to work for my co -workers. I work in a nursing and rehab facility so this should be informative.

I read the Donovan series by Elizabeth Howell years ago - I really enjoyed it! Is this your first time through or a re-read? If first time hope you like it!
Melissa that is a wonderful idea!!! Something tells me you and your co-workers will love it!!!! Let me know what you think after you read it. Also once you have read it you can go on Amazon and leave a review.

@Melissa - I've read a ton of Elizabeth Lowell, but this is my first go 'round with this series. It's not my favorite of hers, but I like it. I love her medieval books and her westerns the best!
Also, what I love most about this team challenge is the sharing and getting to know about books we would never hear about otherwise!

And I just finished

And I just finished

How did you like book 2 of Sentinel Wars? I need to get book 3 from the library....I keep forgetting

Looks like an interesting series. I may need to check out book #1

I hope to finish it by tomorrow. It will count towards Singles Rule Mini Challenge but I guess it won't count towards romance.
18 has shelved it as Romance > Paranormal Romance but only 4 has shelved it as Romance

This is what I have so far! Let me know if I've forgotten anything and please post your covers!

We are over 800 books and have read close to 250,000 pages!

Great job everyone!

I like the series. Although it has a love triangle, which I hate, but there are signs it might be getting cleared up soon. It also has a cool dog. I'm definitely looking forward to book 4.

I don't mind love triangles as long as a decision is made one way or the other, lol

All except Stolen Heat count toward the mini challenge (I think).

@Gayle - you and I seem to be on the same reading trajectory!! I'm set to read Archangel's Consort and Stolen Heat this month and just recently finished Mariana. Glad to know you liked them all!! I will put you down for the mini challenge. Thanks!!
So I am reading 3 books at the moment - only 1 counts for the mini challenge but all count toward Romance.

I have a love/hate relationship with Outlander. I've read it twice before - the first time it was okay, the second time I didn't finish it. So I'm trying it again and trying to keep an open mind.

I love Nalini Singh!! I ♥ both the Psy changeling and the Guild Hunter series

@Melissa. I plan to start the Psy Changling series as soon as I finish the Guild Hunters. As I'm reading those from the public library, I am on hold at the moment.

Woo Hoo team. We are on a role!!

I had the exact same sound!

I know that sound all to well. I am not sure I will ever get through all the TBR books on my Kindle. LOL

"
Yeah, that is a good series. I stopped at the first Dream Hunters and need to get back into it.

I give up chocolate and chips every lent. It's definitely a sacrifice, but it's good for my winter weight too. :)

I just finished one of my books

@Marla - those are difficult things to give! I gave up fast food and frankly it's the hardest thing I've given up. But I have a feeling it will help with weight loss, too!
