Thanks for letting me know. When I check the books for my team, I do click on every member. When looking at the other teams, I just use what is on the banner.

Not a problem - I'll make note of it in my records. The Moderators will need to update page 1.

Please make sure you post a comment in the Round II sign up thread as well in case your comments does get missed here.

The Mods will be doing "spot checks" on page numbers.

You guys are looking good, due mainly to the diligent efforts of Rebecca.

Sure hope I stay with you goys in Tower Team Part II. We did a great job!!!

Thank you!! I had a great team which really helped. When they were told to add a book, they did. When I said it didn't work and it had to be removed, they listened :) Thanks everyone!

I think I had you guys adding a lot more than taking away which is a good thing.

Someone wrote in another thread it's like being at the end of summer camp and I agree. We can still visit and write to each other.

And we did a great job. We had a slow start but came back kicking in the end.

Chris (cdavies1951) | 2192 comments Do we still post here?

I will anyway...

Just finished: Devil's Bride (Cynster, #1) by Stephanie Laurens

I loved this book! It was great, but you all probably know that already :-)

Chris (cdavies1951) | 2192 comments Ditto the great job, Rebecca and all! It wouldn't be half as much fun without you.

They haven't quite reached 2,013, Marguerite. Plus, I am subtracting seven books which do NOT meet the page count requirement.

message 1714: by ~Melissa~ (new)

~Melissa~ I finished Seize the Night (Dark-Hunter, #7) by Sherrilyn Kenyon earlier today. Great series for any of you that like PNR.

Ladies I've had a blast with this challenge. It's been wonderful seeing all the different books read and my TBR pile is definitely bigger ☺

It would be cool if we could all stay together, lol that would rock!!

message 1721: by Vi (new)

Vi | 1758 comments Michelle, you can sign up HERE. Just click on the hyperlink. I'm not sure whether you can use the shelf name - I have to check with Lisa Kay on that.

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 2240 comments Good morning, Team!! Happy Wednesday. I finished Street Game (GhostWalkers, #8) by Christine Feehan which doesn't count for anything but it was fun!

I am now reading Every Which Way But Dead (The Hollows, #3) by Kim Harrison and Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, #2) by Diana Gabaldon

Yes.

We are planning to let the Team Captains in first, so that they may reserve posts in the beginning threads.

Vi | 1758 comments Leslie, how are you finding Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, #2) by Diana Gabaldon . I really loved it!

message 1730: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 2240 comments Vi, I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this series. This is my second attempt at reading it and I'm liking it better than the first time around. Not sure why I didn't like it originally, since it seems it would be right up my alley! Highlanders, time travel - what's not to love!!

Just finished Tuesday's Child Tuesday's Child (Psychic Visions, #1) by Dale Mayer Free book for review. This book is a page turner with lots of twists and turns. My heart went out to Sam when she had her visions. A must read.
April monthly challenge the cover has water and sky.

Just started Is This All There Is? Is This All There Is? by Patricia Mann .

message 1732: by ~Melissa~ (new)

~Melissa~ Last night I finished The Gamble (Colorado Mountain, #1) by Kristen Ashley - it has mountains on the cover so I figure that works for April challenge - earth

This is the first in Kristen Ashley Colorado Man series - murder, suspense and romance all rolled into one

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 2240 comments Good morning, Team!! Crazy weather where I'm living - hope everyone else is doing okay.

Just finished Every Which Way But Dead (The Hollows, #3) by Kim Harrison
I don't think it counts for anything.

@Melissa - another Kristen Ashley I have to read! I'm becoming obsessed thanks to you LOL!!

@Marguerite - I have had that book on my nook for awhile. Looks like I need to read it.

Cool Text: Logo and Graphics Generator
Current Stats:

Team Books Read/Goal* % of Goal % of 2,013
Team A 1877/6409 = 29.2% 93.2 %
Team B 1966-1/6385 = 30.7% 97.6%
Team C 2029/6321 = 32.0% 100.007%
Team D 1796/6378 = 28.1% 89.2%

Goal totals adjusted, subtracting people who never signed up, or never posted a book.

Subtractions done for books posted with page counts less than 170. We don’t have the Team A's finished yet, but we wanted to post.

If your Team is on track, it would be at 27.6% of Goal as of today.

Round II should start in the next few days. Steven has made me think...I may allow some overlap...but, let me consider it. We can always have the start day as today or tomorrow, even if people aren't in their groups until the day after.

Moderators of NBRC | 33496 comments Mod
You may leave you shelf names the same. Also, if you decide to change the name, you can go in through you bookshelves and "edit" the name; it will still keep all your other books "tagged" for the challenge Home Page.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) wrote: "How is it not going to affect the totals for that round?"

Not dense at all, Teresa. We are setting the date parameters to start April 12th. There will be some overlap on both challenges, but it is fine to use the same shelf for both.

❀Oo❀, I going to break your questions down:

"Would the books that I've read for Round I count for Round II, or will we have to start a new tally , counting the books from 1 again?"

• Your books for Round I will NOT count, unless you have some that are finished on April 12th. Round II Team Challenges have date parameters set into their set-up.

"On my shelf for this chalenge, I've got 50 books counted as read. Would those books count at all..."

• The start of Round II may be the 13th or 14th...we'll see. But we are doing to allow any books finished on the 12th or after.

"... or do I remove those books from the shelf and start adding only the new books for Round II?"

• NO! You do NOT have to go in and "untag" any books.
