I planned my son's engagement party using Pinterest. It was awesome. And his fiance is using it for the wedding. And my oldest daughter is using it to plan her wedding. Though she's not allowed to post until she has finished her Med school applications. Such incentive!!
Just finished How I Got Him To Marry Me: 50 True Stories
. Free book for review. All the ups and downs of having a relatioship that ends in marriage. Fifty personal stories on how the women made their dreams come true. A delightful read.

Dangerously Determined to Devour All Books Team - We all had a lot of fun last month when the captains challenged you to beat us in a read-off. Well, we've decided to do it again! (I know, crazy, right!)
We are going to change it up a bit. From March 28th to April 7th, can you read 4 times as many pages as Leslie, Vi and I read as a group? Yes, that means if we read 1,000 pages, you will need to read 4,000 pages.
We have decided to not include audio books for this challenge. And in order for the book to count, you must post the page count here. All other challenge rules apply.
Books can be started at any time but must be finished between the dates above.
I do believe it's Game On!

Donna - if you want to change your goals, let me know your new total and message the Nothing but Reading Challenges Moderator to let them know. You can find their link on the main page. If you signed up for Round II, please make sure they know you want to update that number as well.

On a book note - I finished

Rebecca, I think I will bump it up to 50. Thanks for your help, I will message the Moderators.

I know - I love her. I need to finish the Demonica series also, lol

Written by Erskine Caldwell, who earlier in life had written

Just finished Dark Pursuit: The Lost Shinmahs
Free book for review. The story line and characters are excellent and believable. I could actually picture the story as I was reading it. It is a page turner and a must read. For Captain Page Challenge 323 pages
Took the book I have just started off here it is only 80 pages.lol
When will the next mini challenge be?lol

@Marguerite - we are taking a week off from the mini challenge due to the holiday weekend. It will start back up next week. I can't wait to see what Faith comes up with for the next one.
We will also be posting the results of the month long Mystery challenge tomorrow. The next month long challenge will start next week too.
Just finished When Minds Collide
Free book for review. I found the story itself and characters good. Two seperate people with two seperate bodies as well as two minds merged to become one person with both characteristics. In other words one body being two people. I do feel it could of been took further though. A good read.

Way to go Vi!! How did you like that one....my son never finished it,lol - not enough action for him :D

I love door stoppers! It gives me a sense of accomplishment though my GR widget is now scolding me.

Great job, Vi. It feels good to finish a big one! I hope you enjoyed every page!

@Vi - great job finishing A Clash of Kings!! So glad you are back - we missed you!
I have finished

@Melissa - I read LoD before I ever read the Demonica series. It was so crazy!! I couldn't figure out the world and had never read anything like that. But I became obsessed. Now I'm on #3 of Demonica.

Just finished Until You
Free book for review. Nicholas falls for Ashleigh like a ton of bricks to the point he is jealous beyond belief. Where love is concerned in this book it has all the ups and downs of real life. A must read.
For captains page challenge. 278 pages

356 pages!

@Rhonda - Congratulations! 10 mystery books in a month is a definite achievement!
@Vi - Well done on finishing A Clash of Kings - I found it the hardest of the series to get through, but it picks up again in Storm of Swords, and I basically read the whole rest of the series in one go!
For the read-off I've finished

Rhonda - someone will be in touch with you about the month long challenge. I can't wait to hear your idea.
Great job everyone on the Captain's Challenge. A question came up regarding page numbers. Try to use whatever format you read. If the page numbers are available in your format, use something similar. Hope that makes sense to everyone.
Have a great weekend!

You get to pick April's "theme". February was Romance and March was Mystery. That's a perk of being a winner for one of our challenges.
