Marguerite - I'm going to have the team judge on your first book being a blue cover. I don't see it, but someone else may have another opinion.

I finished and I have to say if you are looking for a good YA novel, try this - especially if you are a Jane Austen fan. I was so pleasantly surprised by this.
I am now starting and I'm hoping to get through it quickly because it's just "meh" so far.

I will post an update sometime today of what I have for everyone - probably in between football games. And of course Downton Abbey is on tonight!

I had my husband who wasn't aware of the challenge look at the book cover and I asked him what color the cover was. The first color he said was "blue" so I think we'll accept as a blue cover.

Thanks Lisa Kay and Rebecca! I'll go with that. I also asked my husband what color the cover is and he (being an engineer) said "what specifically on the cover are you looking at?" So he wasn't a big help.

@Leslie: I read shift on the 18th and I just finished Alpha today and i'm still reading both Falling Kingdoms and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer ,I haven't started Hex Hall yet :)

I like her as well. I've been reading her Eternal Guardians series as well as her Stolen Trilogy. Both are very good and inexpensive as ebooks.
And I just finished Against the Wind recently. First time for that author. I thought it was pretty good. I look forward to hearing what you think.

Leslie, Rebecca said Grace and Power is a blue cover. His suit is dark blue and there is a dark blue band at the top of the book.

I switched from to as it fits another of my challenges. Hope to finish it by tonight.

@ Gayle ~ glad you enjoyed I'm slowly reading it on my phone as I have a few minutes here and there when I'm out and about. I'm enjoying it. I read the first of the Eternal Guardians series and really enjoyed that one as well.

YAY, I'm finally on break, I have more time to read.


I finished which I gave 3 stars. The writing was great but I simply didn't like the story.
Now I'll start .

I'm sad that I don't have any blue books to read for the mini challenge. I finished 4 books this weekend, bringing my total to 21!

Did you like Glazed Murder?

I did like Glazed Murder. It's a bit too much like the Hannah Swenson series ( ), but it was still a fun read. I put the rest of the series on my TBR. :)

The Hannah Swenson series is one I like to read when I need something light and fluffy. I'll have to check out this series too!

@Alley - way to go!! And no worries about the challenge. We will be doing others and you are doing great with your reading. Kate Daniels is one of my all time favorite series!

Sky Blue is cettainly a page turner. when I thought I had it all figured out things changed and were shocking in a way. The ending was very unexpected. A must read is Sky Blue!!!!

Rebecca and Leslie my tower team box says I read 10 books when my last book made 11 books read. My shelf dor Tower team shows 11 books read now as well but not my tower team box does not. thank you.

Lisa for a long time it said 10 then it finally said 11 books. Usually it changes fast, it was slow this time.lol sorry.

As far as your book total updates, there is sometimes a small delay from the time you add a book to your tower shelf until GR catches up.

I just finished . I gave it 3 stars, but I am still on the fence about it overall. I'm sorry I couldn't participate in the Blue Cover mini challenge. Hopefully I can work the next one in. Hello everyone :) I've been really sick so I'm sorry for my absence here. Over the weekend, I read which was surprisingly good. I gave in 4 stars it was really good for a free e-book. I got tired of Shiver so I'm putting that one down for a while (I swap in and out of books a lot). Today I've been reading and I LOVE IT. I wouldn't be surprised if I finish that one tonight. Then I plan on diving into the second book.
