YES Century Link. And there was a Kindle issue, now resolved. I have Once Upon a Set of Wheels and Lost Boys open on the Kindle. Both so well written but SO intense!

I'm saying no more on that topic, Mona! I suppose the real root of my comment was a touch of the green-eyed monster. As a writer, I'd like to have you (my reader) all to myself. I wonder if LM feels the same?

I am happy to share, as long as when mine is being read it has full attention.
I have three books on the go at the moment, and I'm trying to write.
it would be noce to just focus on one thing at a time, but I think I'd get bored:-)

I offer my apologies for the lateness. Any of you who are also members of the Reviews Initiative for Indie Books most likely already saw it over there, but I am late getting to several reviews for what I am sorry is a lame excuse -- I read these books and wrote reviews weeks ago, thought I published the reviews, and...it turns out either I let it slip my mind, or my internet was playing tricks on me and only leading me to believe I had published them.

I'm a strictly one at a time girl I am afraid. I think it stems from the time when I couldn't afford to buy books so I didn't have the luxury of being able to pick them up and put them down at my leisure. I borrowed from the library and had to get them back in a fortnight or pay the fines.

Please remember that part of the deal is that it gets posted to Amazon! The only exception is when the review is two stars or less; then it gets posted to Goodreads, but only goes to Amazon at the author's request.

Have we heard from Harsh in relation to reviews? Still waiting on my round 2 review.

L.M., I have not heard from Harsh or seen any reviews posted from him. If we get to the end of the Group and people are short reviews, you can start a thread called something like "Group 10: missing reviews" and request that those reviews get filled in from the rest of the forum. It usually works pretty well. However, I also know some people post all their reviews at the last minute, so let's wait until the date is up.

Or even 'group 8: missing reviews'?!

Oh, um, yeah - got my Groups mixed up! Heh. Much going on in my brain...

We all seem to have approached this group from various angles, and to have met with different difficulties on the way. I did all four of my reviews pretty quickly but am still waiting for my Round 1 review. Some people have been ill, others had internet problems, some have been snowed under with work. I'm sure we'll all get there one way or another. Meanwhile we've made some nice new contacts and perhaps even a friend or two.

That's a great attitude, Allie, and indeed I feel I've made some friends on here - it's a great group of people with a real interest in fairness and helping each other out. Wish there was more like this!
