I can't sit up late. We have to go hunting for someone to help us with the electric bill in the morning. Can't go without heat when it's 7 degrees outside. Still, I'm gonna be up for an hour or two in an attempt to blaze through some stuff myself.

Yes I'm rereading it. But its the first time for my friends and I thought I'd join in with them as I wanted to read it again.

That book and series scares me. I'm pretty sure it's the first book in a planned series of ten books, each with a 1000+ page count. That's quite a commitment.

It was okay. It wasn't anything like I thought it was going to be. I'm getting a bit worn out on these flashback-type stories.

I just can't seem to find fantasy books that interest me very easily. I wish I could because I know how amazing it can be to get really caught up in one.

Currently,I'm half way through The traitot queen by Trudi Canavan. It was on my shelf like Forever as I was too scared to read it as it's the last book of the trilogy! I know, I'm mental! Also reading few YA books and last part of Michael Scott's Nicholas Flamel books.

I have read The Name of the Wind. I enjoyed it, will be reading A Wise Man's Fear soon as well, I have many books on my TBR list, who knows when I'll get to it.

For our buddy read, it takes as long as it takes. We did not set a time limit.

I am reading four books (and started a few others!) Friendship Cemetery by Adele Elliot. It is fantastic! I have 40 pages to go. "Untouchable" by Alice Janell. A great fantasy/fairy tale so far. "Peaceful Genocide" by J.A. Reynolds, "The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion. That one is my romance novel for the year lol! I won't say anymore because I could go on forever about how many books that I have to read. I made myself write down every kindle book I have and how long it is so I do not keep getting more Kindle books unless I really really want it! Plus I have over 40 books I won from this site. So I have plenty to read and did not have to spend any money!

I catch myself attempting to read a bunch of books at one time like that Molly and really have to watch it. I am an EXTREMELY slow reader and have no business reading more than two at a time although I can't help myself sometimes.

oh good I am not the only one. But I am a fast reader so it is I think more dangerous for me. I have been known to read up to 8 books at a time. But like a horse race, one always pulls ahead lol!

I UNDERSTAND YOU SO MUCH! I am hopeless with choosing only one book to read! There is always something else that catches my eye and my hunger just awakes! Like yesterdays I started 2 new book so now I am reading 6 at the same time! Thank God I have my husband,so reminds me that I have to eat, drink and sleep! And go to work lol

I am so glad you understand me. A lot of people think I am weird. I think of it like watching television. I watch one channel for an hour then I have to watch something else. But yes, it is like something new catches your eye and you want it. I have two lists I posted on my blog of the new Spring books I want almost 30 books. But I think I mentioned I have over 40 books won from goodreads and my Kindle has 126 books not read. But do I need more books...yes! And I am juggling my four books just fine lol! You are reading 6 see you get me. My highest was 8 at a time. And my husband is the same way. I'm like "One more chapter" and he is like "You are going to be late!" lmao! too funny. They need to give us a book break and stop putting them out for a while lol!

Oh God! Don't wish it! I Don't want them to stop publishing new things ;) I would probably go even more mental without monthly book that I am always buying as a treat;) I have 119 unread books on my Kindle plus around 20 on my shelf (some books I HAVE to have in paperback). I think my max was also 8 when I was at Uni (studying English literature helped a lot with my addiction lmao). I'm scared to make a list of all books I Want....too many and my husband would most likely lock me up somewhere... :p

I'm currently reading 'girl a' about the Rochdale sex ring convicted last year . Excellent yet gritty book !

I've not read that one, but I bet you'll like it. I've read the first two in Lorn's Larry Laughlin series and enjoyed them quite a bit.

I am STILL reading Carrion Comfort, BUT I am getting close to the end now. Also reading Drood.

I've read a couple of his books: that one and the first one in the John Puller series. I enjoyed them both.

Tumbledown: A Novel and The Answer to the Riddle Is Me: A Memoir of Amnesia

I am reading a couple of other things but these two have most of my attention right now. Both great reads.

I gotta say though, Boswell is a master craftsman.

I'm reading Serial Killers Uncut. So far it is a big score for the authos, Blake Crouch and Jack Kilborn (AKA JA Konrath).

I'm chipping away at Titus Groan. If you're not one who can appreciate an author using 250 words to describe a single change in a character's facial expression, this might not be for you.

Emma its really good! I read 90 pages in just a couple of hours this morning. And its good that I didn't know the story.

Ye I am looking forward to not knowing where the story is going, I bought a few books of the series from a charity shop today, hoping I do not need to read them in order, will see how it goes :)

I'm liking the second book better than the first one myself. I'm only on page 115 and probably won't read anymore of that one today. I need to catch up some in Drood. At least I have my weekends off with this new job and actually get two days off a week. Should be able to get some reading in this way.

Reading Funland by Laymon, Nightmare at 20,000 feet - a short story collection by Richard Matheson, another collection by John Shirley called Black Butterflies, and I am also tackling Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. Oh, and Roald Dahl's Charlie and The Amazing Glass Elevator is my buddy read with my daughter. She picked up something else so we have been lagging on that one, though.

Am reading Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness. The last in the Chaos trilogy. The format has changed though and the chapters are really long in excess of 70 pages. Am finding it hard to get into because of this.

Tumbledown by Robert Boswell. So far, a great read.

Just started Two Graves by Preston & Child.
