I can read an Everything (something) book for you to chain off of, if you like :) I searched at my e-library and found these two options (that weren't thrillers and are under 300 pages :P)

Everything to Me by Simona Taylor
Everything to Me (chain off of Me)

Everything In Between by Crystal Hubbard
Everything In Between (chain off of Between)

Let me know if one of those works!

Bety (betyplusbooks) | 211 comments Ok, I have found one book, blatantly stolen from another group's constellation task, which I have access to:
Robert B. Parker's Lullaby (Spenser, #40) by Ace Atkins
And one spontaneously found book:
The Dog Stars by Peter Heller

Although the book:
There Is No Dog by Meg Rosoff
Which I already read, and maybe
Connect the Stars by Marisa de los Santos
Which I don't have access to, also probably work.

These suggestions are open to anyone for the time being; not going to claim anything until I can actually start reading, which won't be for at least 6 hours.

message 4930: by Bety (last edited Sep 29, 2016 08:20AM) (new)

Bety (betyplusbooks) | 211 comments One thing we could do is if anyone has started a trilogy that they can continue, and someone else can start it, that will be fewer books per person.
I have started:
-The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman (read 1, can read 2&3)
-The Parasitology Trilogy by Mira Grant (read 1&2, can read 3)
-The Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkin (read 1, can read 2, might be able to get my hands on 3)
-The Beka Cooper trilogy by Tamora Pierce (read 1 and 2, can read 3)

My biggest problem with trying to do a trilogy is finding one where all 3 books are available online. But if I have to, I can probably find a bookstore once I'm off work.

message 4931: by Bety (last edited Sep 29, 2016 09:58AM) (new)

Bety (betyplusbooks) | 211 comments Was looking through the banked books:
For 24 red cover, we could use A Court of Thorns and Roses or The Little Stranger.
For 24 Farm, I think maybe we could use The Kitchen House; a plantation is kind of like a really big farm?
Looks like for 24 Amazons, Siege will probably work, though I seem to remember someone reading a book satisfying this.
And then for the series, if we haven't figured out the trilogy stuff I will probably just read The Amber Spyglass and use the first two from TA; gonna be rebellious and not read the second book.

Lory | 629 comments I'd be up for the Bek Cooper books. I think I've read the first one, but would read it again. I love Tamora pierce

Ok, I can read either 2 and 3 or just 3 while you read 1 and 2? It's been forever since I read any of them so I'm well past the reread time minimum. Or I could do 1 and 3 if you want to pick up where you left off.

Unless another volunteer wants to read Book 1 of the Beka Cooper series.

In that case, I will start with 3 and then start 2 after that. Or read 3 and then read The Amber Spyglass in case you don't finish 2. They are chunky books to finish 2 in two days!

message 4936: by Ray (user2637) (new)

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Oh, nice red book. I was thinking about His to Take from TA shelf for red. It *looks* more red but the website has them at about the same. Options. :)

I figured any Kate Daniels book for 24a since she's holding a sword on all the covers. Anne of Green Gables takes place on a farm (or so I'm told), so that will also work for 24c. Lots of choices!

Also, I'm still holding out hope that the Travel will finish Amber Spyglass (it's on the 'currently reading' shelf) and plug in a date. We've got about 62 hours left... it could happen... :]
