The Slightly Odd World of Phil Whiteland

Thanks Jim. I thought it worked out quite well, given that its subject matter is a tad on the sensitive and potentially controversial side :-)"
Yes I thought it came through nicely

Thanks Jim. If I knew what I was doing I could be positively dangerous! ;-)

How many words so far?"
Thanks Jim. Good question! At a rough estimate, I would say between 18k and 20k.

Good point, Jim. I'll bear that in mind ;-)

I'd go for 30k plus :-)
It's nicely character driven and fun

FYI Jim, the running total (now that I've actually sat down and totted it up) is 24,239 :-)

Strikes me that with a busy inn on a road junction, it could be amazing just who passes through and who recognises who. I'd be tempted to have a son of Gwladys whose's done well for himself appear looking for his old mum, and falling for Aefelthrith
But there are so many ways these characters could drive it :-)
