Correct, but that doesn't change the fact that none of the aforementioned health benefits have been proven so until they are I guess it's a case of buyer beware.

All (well not quite) is explained in these threads Rebecca: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

A lack of mainstream studies (or less formal medical/pharmaceutical evaluation/comment) absolutely does not mean that it does not do what people report, agreed. But it does mean that whether or not it does what it claims to do, is, to a significant degree, unproven. What people report (testimonials or similar) is no substitute for a more rounded methodical assessment. And, by the way, that's very (very) much NOT because people are unreliable, or can't be trusted or don't know what they are talking about. It's for a variety of reasons, important ones, but none of those reasons impugn the character of those who believe in the efficacy of a particular treatment.
There are certainly beneficial treatments that have no, or little, mainstream research that seem to work. Sometimes (not always) what is 'working' is not the treatment itself (this does not necessarily make it less valuable by the way!). But also, fairly obviously, there are some claims made for products/treatments, (often originating from very genuine belief, though not always), which do not turn out, in the end, to be all that was hoped for.
When trying to assess any topic I know little about, I am always impressed when people with confidence in a subject mention, at least in passing, the prevalent facts and opinions which surround their topic and which run counter to their personal opinion/assessment. I don't know anything about Ormus, but it seems to have been around a while, there must be some medical or pharmaceutical comment on it, at least, if not any real research as yet?
Believe it or not, I am not writing this because I feel that Ormus is not beneficial.

I think we are all agreed the jury's still out on the benefits of ORME, Ormus or white gold.

Limited studies, I believe (especially as I'm pretty sure mainstream science doesn't even recognize ORMUS, at least in the West), but I found the following:
ORMUS Related Scientific References http://www.subtleenergies.com/ormus/r...
There is a major Chinese university that did a big study on Ormus' in agriculture and concluded it is beneficial in agriculture. But I cannot seem to find it online right now.
One article on Ormus I just found mentioned the author of the article is:
Roger Taylor, PhD, BVSc, has a PhD in immunology and set up the UK Medical Research Council's Immunobiology Research Group at the University of Bristol, where he directed work mainly on immunological tolerance. He has spent the last 18 years independently studying the scientific basis for subtle energy.
Dr Taylor is science editor/writer for Caduceus, and his ORMUS article is also published in Caduceus, issue 71, Spring 2007 (Caduceus Journal Ltd, 9 Nine Acres, Midhurst, West Sussex GU29 9EP, UK, telephone +44 01730 816799, website http://www.caduceus.info). He can be contacted by email at [email protected]

It's always buyer beware. As for lack of proof, you have already discounted the words of those people who have shared their experiences. It's probably better that way. Like they said in Westworld, "The maze isn't for everyone."
Just imagine if all the claims were true, hell, if half of them are true it can cure almost anyone of anything. It's so easy to make that the establishment would be turned on its ear in less than a year. People curing themselves, how dare they. That's what Dr.'s are for.

Many thanks! I will read.

He made a lot of extreme claims about the powders he gifted me, such as levitation and consciousness expansion. I'm not sure if I felt anything though no doubt attention I was focusing had a positive placebo effect.

At least you tried it. I still work with the material that I make (though I don't powder it) and have many people who have reported that they have benefitted from taking it. Most recently, a woman I know that has MS started taking a very small amount. After two weeks she reported to me that she noticed something definitely changed in her condition. After several years of being wheelchair bound the slightest improvement is a big deal for her when there is no other hope to be found. It's only been a few weeks, time will tell how far she improves.

After so many years in a wheelchair, watching her body deteriorate little by little, she was smiling from ear to ear. The dirt (ormus) that I make is the only thing that she changed in her daily, regimented routine.
Yes, I call it dirt because I'm so tired of all the new aged weirdos associating it with mana and the like.
I still can't understand why more people don't learn how to make it. A retarded, left-handed monkey with one eye and a limp could learn how to do it.
I've also got two older gentlemen with glaucoma that have had measurable improvements in their eye pressure.

I had to wonder if Nine, or Sebastian continue to take the white gold. If not it could explain his heart condition. Not that I am saying the book is based on the truth, but it did make me think about after using the powder for so long how the body reacts when the substance is no longer there.
My guess it is something to ween from rather than to stop using abruptly. Giving the body time to create a vaccine type effect As well as how the book suggested the possible jump in our Darwinian evolution especially after conception. Keeping in mind opposites attract. Which leads to the question could it cause sterility if both male and female have using it for a prolonged time. Although I like to think roses are red violets are blue. One form of powdered gold for her the other for who!

Most likely Nine aka Sebastian did continue to take white gold - and you are right... that may well explain his heart condition... or it may explain why he lived as long as he did. (The jury remains out).

ORME’s biological results were outstanding. As well as balancing both hemispheres of the brain, the product had also been proven to activate so-called Junk DNA, and the orphans’ regular consumption of it allowed them to move, fight and think as efficiently and effectively as almost any adult. –The Orphan Factory
As mentioned, Ormus can be taken in order to improve a person’s health. In its powdered form, it’s usually ingested sublingually, or under the tongue. When taken this way, it goes straight into the bloodstream. Alternatively, in its liquid state, White Gold can be drunk as a potion or else applied topically to the skin.
Not long after he discovered Ormus and began analyzing it, David Hudson said the substance could repair the body on a genetic level. Others have since postulated that Ormus is a universal cure for all forms of disease, including cancer and AIDS. Proponents also say the substance can correct errors in the DNA and even activate Junk DNA.
It’s worth mentioning that most commercial manufacturers of Ormus have numerous testimonials from customers. Testimonials on the manufacturers’ websites claim cures for all sorts of serious illnesses, including mental disorders, diabetes, heart disease and osteoporosis. Various anti-aging results have also been reported.
Again, though, it should be stressed none of these health benefits have been proven scientifically. It’s anybody’s guess whether Ormus users experienced the placebo effect or whether there simply haven’t been enough mainstream studies conducted to support users’ claims.
Only time will tell.
