Jenn--I think I started Blind Obsession a couple of years ago and never finished it. I don't think I got very far and then abandoned it for a new release I'd been waiting for. I put it on my list for #22--book about an artist. Thanks!

I read it 6 years ago and honestly still to this day I can't put into words why I loved it so much, I guess the best way to describe my experience and oh it was an experience is to say I felt like I was a part of them, like a fourth person.

Tessa | 1761 comments Amy what did you think of First Friday Night?

message 157: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments Also, Kendall Ryan's Dirty Little Secret is about a librarian. It was on Ela's freebie link in the freebies and discount post. I just started it since I wanted something dark and yep, librarian!

I really liked it! Typical Abbi Glines just not as intense as her more adult series (like Rosemary Beach). I had throwback indie feels when reading it. 😊

Perfect, thank you! I just added it to my list.

Steph | 109 comments WOW! Some of you are making such great progress! I'm just reading and inserting what I read if it happens to fit. I'll be looking for some recommendations for some of the harder ones though!

Amy~ I couldn't believe how many you had and then I realized some are tbr, lol.

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Lisa's Progress - and I was soooo not successful in getting it to paste here with a line through the ones I completed, cuz basically I suck!!! But, I got 9 of the 60 done.

Lisa. To get a line through the numbers you've completed... Use the < with an 's' and then a > so it looks like this < s> without the space immediately before the completed Challenge Number, then on the backside of it do the same thing, except add the slash like this without the space, < /s>

message 163: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Oh, yeah--I've made a ton of progress filling in the books I plan to read but not much with actually reading them. The ones I've read have the # of stars written next to them. I think I'm going to bold that part so that it'll show up better. I wish we could highlight with color.

I'm with you on that Renee! I'm a good planner...but the reading itself, I've been a slacker with.

Tessa | 1761 comments Okay, PURE COINCIDENCE! :) I finished the accidental librarian book and started my PFM, which is another librarian book. Royally Matched (Royally, #2) by Emma Chase

The heroine is a librarian in this one too!

message 169: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Okay guys, I hope to give you an updated list tonight or by the end of the month at least......I think everyone is doing really great!!!

Question, I'm reading The Kind Worth Killing right now.....which challenge does it fit? NYT Best Seller? Book turned movie? Psychothriller? All of the above? BTW, THIS BOOK IS INSANE AND I LOST SLEEP LAST NIGHT THINKING ABOUT GETTING BACK TO IT!!!!!

Also, finished Bulldozer (Book with a "Z" in the title) and LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

message 170: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments Jean, I'm doing all mine once a month. Maybe, for those that just fit multiple sections, set it in a list and just state what they could be for, in case the other choices can be filled up with something else?

I agree with Michelle. I got to 60% of one of the first books I read this year and feel like that should count for something! Especially since I didn't count it in my annual GR reading challenge! I haven't yet, but I may!

The best three books of your life?

I don't know. I just want it to be super excellent.

A classic trilogy? Does it exists?

I'm not picky. I just don't like erotica.

No, the only trilogy I remeber reading is Firebird. I only read book 1 (I plan on reading the whole trilogy), but I wanted to read a new one for the challenge.

The Fish Tales has 4 books.

The Fish Tales IS the IS my #1, followed super closely by American Queen (trilogy) but I don't think you'd like that one.

My second suggestion would be Gabriel's Inferno, but read a sample first because his writing style isn't for everyone! I love it though and we're going to do a BR at some point in the BBB.

The 4th Fish Tales book isn't part of the trilogy. It's kind of a behind the scenes look at Suanne's writing process and all the scenes that were cut.

I'll try The Fish Tales.

hahah it will, BUT then you can count it twice. Read it while it's a trilogy then read the 4th book to satisfy last in series!!

Still, I know you and you NEED to read The Fish Tales. Don't rush the first quarter. It moves a little slow but it is chock full of goodness you don't even realize!

Wow! Okay, I can't not read it. I found a Complete 4-Book Set on Amazon with my name on it. It's on my list, I'll buy as soon as I can. *.*
