All I ask for is, a professional and unbiased opinion and review of the book. This will help give fresh perspective of the book and insight to the author. Is this possible?

If anyone is interested in reading and reviewing my book, please let me know by sending a message to me on my author page, thank you.

Hi Joseph. I'd be happy to read your book and provide a review. Can you send me a message with info on where to download a reviewer copy? Looks like I just missed the free download.
Robin

I haven't been very active this year [new job; worst one I've ever had! But, I digress].
I'm considering starting up a poetry workshop at my high school (caged bird's gotta sing) and, therefore, will be reading a lot of poetry to gear up and stay fluent

I've spent zero time marketing this book; I haven't even gotten an ebook finalized yet. However, I believe it's the best one I've written. I had a small reviewing of my sophomore poetry effort that gleaned 5/5 stars (all honest reviews).
I'll happily send a PDF to anyone willing to offer me a review (PM me please or email [email protected])
Here's something I wrote recently, to give you a flavor:
What do I do with all this leftover love? --Sierra DeMulder
Last week
I took your jade from
my neck
It's chain had gathered rust
(like us?)
It's thread is fraying at the edges
Soon it would've been lost
Already, it's become too heavy a weight
to bear
I wrapped it in satin shroud
for safekeeping
I am trying to let you go
I'm thinking of taking down your drawings
boxing them away
like the honesty we no longer have
between us
Maybe I'll keep them with the gifts you've
never opened
and "all this leftover love"
You
who are the master
who've made an art of it
Teach me how to let you go
Tell me the secret
to ignoring a severed limb
of saying: this is another day
closer to death and lived without you
a heartbeat's currency
spent on lesser things
Tell me how to be
content with that
Teach me about indifference
with estrangement clothed like
Death, instruct me how to
circumvent a lifetime supply
of grief, pretend you are as unreachable
as the loved ones devolving to dust
and MOVE ON!
strike the words "I miss you" from my
vocabulary
Strand me high on the mountaintop
Name it Severance
Name it Passed This
Name it an Obliette
Let my screams meld with the silence
until there's nothing left but silence
nothing left but silence
nothing left...
For the life of me
I'm trying
to live, to forget, to ignore the
roaring in my chest
to deny there's any empty
assigned to you
to love you less for breaking me
again
to love me less for allowing myself
to be broken
to let you go
to let you go

I had a book of poetry, LESSONS OF THE DEAD, released by Fomite Press in January. Nearly all of the poems start with a similar title, What the Dead Tell Us About SUBJECT, though there are a few exceptions.
They are often described as funny and strange and aren't all that macabre, surprisingly.
Here's a sample poem. The line breaks are a bit wacky because of the comment form, but you get the idea.
At Orientation
They tell us we’re lost,
but they hand out maps anyway
that clearly show us off to the side
with wild arrows pointing to the big question mark in the middle,
and we say, Thanks, that’s real helpful,
and the stewardesses adjust their hats as they smile and say,
Oh, they’re not for navigation, before shuffling us off
toward the exits, tiny doors, like tunnel entrances,
just large enough to crawl through,
and give us tickets with exact times stamped on them,
like train tickets, but these come with props
each with a label that reads this is what you can expect,
the man next to me had World War One printed on his,
and they gave him a helmet with a spike on top of it,
and a single-shot rifle,
other people got all sorts of things, eyepatches,
wheelchairs, twin brothers until everyone
had an outfit—businessmen, fashion models, and farmers,
the soldier next to me looked at me and said, I don’t like war,
I don’t even like action movies, before waving down a stewardess,
pushing the helmet into her arms, and saying, I don’t understand.
And the stewardess smirked again, and said,
Don’t worry, you won’t,
before checking her watch, and stepping out of the way
as the ticket-taker, sudden and imposing in a trench coat
and fedora, like he’d been in the SS in another life,
opened the soldier’s door and said, I’ll see you in 76 years,
on the button.
And the soldier crawled into his tunnel, as did doctors,
and plumbers, and teachers,
and others with outfits we couldn’t make out or understand,
and we looked at each other before leaving,
and smiled sheepishly.
At least we’re dressed for the occasion, I said,
as the man in the trench coat told me I had 82 years
as he opened the door
to some strange party.

I hope this message finds you well. Firstly let me start by introducing myself, My name is Zoleka Mannie, a 25-year-old writer and artist from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I have self-published my first poetry book, " Talk Like a Painting" which is officially available on Amazon and Blurb Books. This book is the 1st from the "Social Apes trilogy". After getting back on my feet from dropping out due to my mental health issue at the time, I was inspired to write my first book. The book took me two years to create and I honestly enjoyed the process of how keep coming to being.I hope it resonates with a lot of people as I felt like I was sharing my truth. It is purely inspired by people I have crossed paths with along with past and present relationships in my life. ALL REVIEWS WILL BE KINDLY APPRECIATED

This is my book of mental health poetry that came out THIS WEEK. It deals with themes of mental illness from personal experience. If you would like a reviewers copy please respond and I would be happy to provide.

A collection of poetry for young adults around the world. Features poems of sadness, happiness, struggle, and emotion. There is even the occasional fun piece. Come indulge yourself in poetry while enjoying the memories that it may induce. Happy reading!

Instead of describing this book, I will ask two questions for you to decide what Paradox is really about.
What do you feel when you say "I"?
Who is aware of yourself?
If you are aware that the ego is an illusion, who knows?
If you aren't aware that you are an illusion, what would it be like to know that?
The story in this book may be motivational, depressing, inspirational or it could be taken literally.
This book will be different for each state of mind.
But the thought remains that what you call "you", may not be you.

So if you would like a print copy of my chapbook mailed to you in March of this year, please contact me through the Goodreads mailing system. I would need a postal mailing address. I think it would have to be in the United States. I still have not asked if they would cover overseas mailings. I will check on that.

I have a chapbook coming out with Finishing Line Press and am looking for people interested in reading it and writing a short blurb for the cover.
Yes, you only know me from my reviews, so it's okay to get a copy of the file and then say no.
The collection is 26 pages about my experiences as a child, travelling to Europe and then being evacuated from Egypt during the Suez crisis. And how that shaped my life.

I hope everyone reading this is doing good and is safe. I would like to let you know that my modern poetry books - ‘Warriors’ and ‘i’m done’ are now available for only $0.99 for a limited period of 3 days (13 -16 July) in US and UK.
If this looks like something you’d like to read, then please do check them out and leave a review.

I just posted a giveaway for "Transported" which is supposed to start on the 11th. Horrified that I have to pay Amazon $119 to do it. That wasn't the way it worked last time I did this.
But where else can I publicize?

Congratulations!
I stopped doing giveaways when they started charging. Aside from the money, I found my previous giveaways (of chapbooks) always went to someone who really wasn't a poetry reader. Anyway... are you on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram? I've promoted my book there. I don't know how to use GoodReads to promote a book other than paying them through the giveaway! I guess it does get you some eyeballs.

I'm happy to post out two paperback copies (or send a pdf, if you prefer) to the first two people who request it (provided you haven't previously had a review copy of one of my books and then not reviewed it - sorry, but I had to say it)
The collection is published by Lapwing publications. Want to know more? Check out
https://www.jswatts.co.uk/p/publicati... and scroll down to find Underword.
In an age where we can talk about anything, we remain reticent about death. It is an integral, complex, unavoidable part of life, the one guaranteed thing all of us will experience, but it remains our final taboo. Underword is a poetry collection that is not afraid to examine death from many angles and viewpoints. Loosely following the narrative flow of the story of Orpheus, the poems of Underword explore life, dying, death, mourning, moving on, hell and the afterlife, hope, disintegration and despair, and endings. Death is as limitless and as limiting as life. Its stories are many.

I am offering two copies of my book for review in the US. If you would like to review the book please link to where you post your reviews in an email sent to [email protected]. If you don't have a proven record of reviewing I am unlikely to ship you a copy for review.
Thank you for your time.

The collection portrays letters written from mother to daughter giving guidance, wisdom, and words of love. This book is targeted towards pre-teens/teenage girls who need some encouragement or advice.

Varied Spirits - An Anthology

Description: We live in societies designed to crush our bodies and spirits, that seek to compartmentalize and confine us in every way, especially into heteronormative roles and bodies although gender, sexuality, even intelligence are naturally on a spectrum.
Variance, the state of being varied, is often seen as negative. Yet skills such as adaptability and variability helped our ancestors survive, and today are essential in gaining and maintaining balance, well-being and mindfulness. Being trans and/or also part of other minoritized or marginalized groups adds extra challenges for being accepted as who you are, of just living your life, of feeling safe in society, in your home, in your body.
This anthology is a gathering of the dignity, the sacrifice, and the beauty of our lives, loves and living. Of our spirits."

Here is my Upcoming Tentative Schedule on Zoom for Thursday Events at 7 PM EDT before we switch to Mondays in September:
—June 27, Catherine Arnold on Poems of Awe and Wonder.
—July 4, Night off to celebrate America.
—July 11, Kelley White and others on Blues Poems.
—July 18, Carla Cherry on A Journey Through Harlem.
—July 25, Nancy Miller Gomez on Poems of Place.
—August 1, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer on Part 2 of Video Poems.
—August 8, NH Teen Poets Laureate Team.
—August 15, Karen Kilcup on “In Praise Of” Poems.
—August 22, Katie Dozier and Tim Green on Love Poems to Each Other.
—August 29, Michael Meyerhoffer: theme still to be finalized.
Also Monday workshops in June, July, and August.

Hey everyone! 😊 I wanted to share that I published my first poetry book, When Words Fall on Deaf Ears, when I was 16. I’ve grown a lot in my writing since then, but I still think of the book as a little time capsule—full of the emotions, thoughts, and experiences I was sorting through at the time.
It explores themes like loneliness, not feeling heard, and the quiet ache of wanting connection. If you're into heartfelt, reflective poetry, it might be your kind of read.
I’d really love to hear what you think—I'm open to any and all reviews, whether it's praise, critique, or just thoughts. Thank you for supporting young writers like me! 💛

A number of poets have asked if anyone in the group would be willing to read and review their books. This group is for readers of poetry, although most of us also write, so we understand the desire to gain readers and congratulate you on your book.
If you have a book you'd like to offer for review, you may do so in a reply to this post. I suggest you make a short pitch with a link to a sample poem because most of us have long reading lists.
I can't make any promises or vouch for the reliability of a group member who might put their hand up. I would also warn that in general most of us decline these offers.
I would point out that the group was set up for participants who read and review and interact. Members who do that have a better chance of actually making friends here with people who might warm to reviewing a book.
Best
Sarah
