xD Oh that is brilliant, I used to spell my name wrong as well. And... hmm let me take a look at my bookshelf... Where the Lilies Bloom is pretty beat up and is written in a ton, Assassin's Apprentice has a crack in the spine from a scene I re-read a ton of times, I underlined in Eggs by Jerry Spinelli, did the same a couple of John Stenibeck's books, dropped The Book Thief in the mud on accident and it is beaten up pretty bad from being taken to school a lot, yeah I think that is about it. I may have more but those are a few. Though I do want to say I take care of my books... a little too much probably but those are some that somehow I have managed to mess up xD Though I am kind of hoping Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will end up looking kind of ragged because that is my favorite book in the series. I never owned them but my mom bought that one new for me in my fav edition of that book and I want it to look really awesome and well loved... it has a crack in the spine which I usually hate but I like on the phoenix XD And yeah I know I am weird haha xD Also weird thing is half of those books aren't my favorite which is odd. Only Eggs, John Steinbeck, and Harry I consider my favs out of that list. I mean the others are good don't get me wrong xD

I love second hand books too, it gives you the impression they've really been read and have so much history other than the actual story they're telling!

But I have a few pre OCD books, for instance my copy of fire study, it was in my school bag and by my side every second so the plasticky bit with the cover picture is pealing off... Also there is a corner of the spine that has rubbed against something so you can see the pages!!

If you watch Tom and Giovanna's videos, their Order of the Phoenix copy is missing! I keep thinking that it is also too beat up to look good on a shelf

ARGH I am so jealous!! Did you meet her, or did you order the signed copy?!

omg me too i'm very OCD about my books i like to keep them very neat and clean like they were new purchased. However, my dad has these french books that he stole (took and never gave back tbh) from his school library (in 1980's) and the pages are so fragile and yellow and at the time they used to study calligraphy too so my dad took notes on them with his beautiful writing and they are just so precious to me.

Haha I've reread them so many times there there is nothing left to hold them together anymore... I may have dropped a few books which probably doesn't help much.

I've got my mothers old copy of Sword of Shanarah (basically low budget LOTR. Total rip off but I love it), and my personal copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Funny story about the Harry Potter, on the inside cover I wrote "This booke belongs to Dardy. I#ound pleese call..." I managed to spell my name wrong AND put the words 'If Found' so close together, it formed a pound/hashtag symbol!
