I hope to join in too...haven't got a copy yet though:) I will be seeing him on the 17th October at our library!

I have to say I was quietly hoping you'd have to come to Sydney with us Brenda!! But so easy to be able to go local of course ;)

Yes when I found out he was going to be in various places around Newcastle I decided I'd be silly to go to Sydney instead;)

Oh I hope you can get to see him Elaine:) He was here for the previous book, but I didn't get to see him then, so I'm looking forward to this time:)

Thanks Brenda. I hope so too. I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting him. Not long to wait now.

I have it as part of my Spring challenge as my blue cover so October works out well :)

Do you perhaps mean The Rosie Project Linda? His first book? This is his second and only just out:) I notice in your books you've read that you gave The Rosie Project 5 stars:) Great book!

I am about half way and really enjoying it. It is not quite as good as the first one but only because the first was so fresh and new. I love the way the author portrays Don's lack of social skills and the way he takes things so literally. There are many laugh aloud moments. Maybe not quite enough of Rosie's perspective though.

Do you know how to use the spoiler tag, Phrynne? You could use it to hide your spoiler - that way the rest of us wouldn't have to click on the spoiler tag until we'd finished!
Just in case you don't know, if you type
before what you want to say, and
afterwards and replace the [ ] with < > then you get (view spoiler) .
And now I've started to use the word spoiler so much, it's starting to sound strange!!

Yes I do but it didn't seem necessary to do that yet. maybe later when more people are reading the book.

I agree with your comments re Rosie. She's not the same Rosie we met in the first book. I'll postpone any further comments until others have had the chance to finish the book.

LOL!!!!"
I peeked, but I figured it couldn't be much of a spoiler if you hadn't started reading!! Of course, I suppose someone could have told you something revealing that I might not want to know until I read it, but I only just thought of that!!

I know what you mean, Phrynne, but I excused her because (view spoiler)
Ooh, I like this spoiler thingy, it's fun, I might just sometimes use it for the heck of it....

OK, I'm definitely not going to peek at your spoiler until I've read the book, Marianne!!

And I've noticed that with any word - if you say or write it enough in a short amount of time, it starts to look a bit weird!

LOL, loving that thing!!! ha ha ha

By Jove! You're right! I hadn't realized that the sequel had already come out! Now I have to add another book to my list....... Thanks, Brenda!
