PattyMacDotComma | 621 comments Six Ostriches is the next in Philipp Schott's Canadian vet mystery series. I enjoyed it without knowing anything about the previous book, Fifty-Four Pigs. It's an entertaining mix of ancient Icelandic sagas, cults, sacrifices... and ostriches.

Pretty good if you treat it as a YA Fantasy than an adult fantasy.

Jim (jimsbooksreadingstuff) Witch King
I have just been approved to read Witch King by Martha Wells. I haven't read anything by her before but have heard good reports of the Murderbot Diaries. The first couple of chapters give me a N K Jemisin/Rebecca Roanhorse vibe... which is intriguing...

I just got approved also, and I listened to the Murderbot Diaries, and loved them, but wished they were longer, but I highly recommend them.
I'm looking forward to reading Witch King, but it's 3rd down.

Assumed it to be an adult sci-fi read, but it turned out to be a middle-grade sci-fi. Nevertheless, very entertaining and thought-provoking.

Amy | 145 comments I recently finished Harlan Coban's "I Will Find You"

My pulse is still racing from the read and "I Will Find You" is now my favorite Harlan Coben novel! I couldn't put it down and spent the day curled up on the couch reading until finishing the final chapter. The layers that Coben reveal in David's story leave readers on the edge of their seats and along for the ride on his mission to find Matthew.

PattyMacDotComma | 621 comments Ah, I remember the heady scent of racing fuel at trackside! Young Lewis Hamilton was bitten early by the Grand Prix bug and grew to be the top Formula One driver and a Sir, no less. Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara shows how a talented black kid made good in a white man's sport.
