Im just starting the seven sisters which is over 500 pages should have it finished in a few days xx

I borrowed Hocus Pocus and the All-New Sequel from my elibrary which is also 500+ pages long! Will start it once I'm done with The Turn of the Key in a couple of days.

Oh btw I messaged Sarah since we haven't heard from her in a while, but if I remember correctly she had some internet issues...

Just got Circe audiobook from the elibrary app, 3 weeks earlier than expected! Going to start it tonight!!

just finished my big book, need to read the next in the series so another long one coming soon, just need to read interview with a vampire for a book group first!!

I know I still need to update the spreadsheet I will get to it in the next few days. We just unexpectedly had to euthanize my cat today and I’m really unfocused.

Thank you 💜 Struggling a little, but I will be okay. He had FIP, which has a 100% fatality rate and he only had 15% use of his lungs at the time. It just happened out of nowhere 💔

I also will be updating the spreadsheet tonight and I should be done with Circe during this first round :)

Round 1 finishes October 17, 9pm UTC Time (which coincidentally is my birthday, and there'll be another dinner party in our restaurant so I won't be able to work on the spreadsheet all day)

Okay I added my books, but I did not list the characters for the R.L.Stine book because my RA is flaring so typing is hard right now and I figured it would be used for a scavenger but I do have them written down if we need them for some reason. One of the sandwiches is almost all fresh now so the other items can be used for frozen meals. My R.L.Stine book is glitching out the spreadsheet and I don't know why, you guys have any idea? Its the Lose, Team, Lose! one. I also do have vinegar as an ingredient left for fish and chips from Sweet & Sorrow: Tanya Makes A Cookbook but I don't know how to add another row so I can add that ingredient in. I have not used any ingredients from The Dream Keeper and Other Poems as they are limited, but I do plan on reading a few more fresh books this month so I have no worries they will fit in somewhere :)

I'm almost 1/2 way through Circe and will be starting on answering some DQs tomorrow :)

Just checked it out. I think we’ll be good for feeding all customers and low food wastage. I totally forgot to spice up the description so I’ll get that done in the next few days so we can add it to the spreadsheet. Then naming dishes shouldn’t be to hard, fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Has anyone heard from any of the other team members?

Should we try to make some of our teas “fancier” by adding sugar, honey, milk, or herbs?

That’s crazy! Maybe we can work it in, even if it’s just a short word :) I’ll have circe finished sometime tomorrow and do my DQ and going to try for 1 more fresh book

I know we could make the words “crab” “spam”. Spam could be a sandwich and crab could be used in like a seafood pasta

Due to no day off this week and my birthday preparations I'm afraid I'm unable to finish another book until Saturday, and I'm unsure if I have a chance to come online at all the next couple of days :( I'll check in from my phone, but I won't be able to work on the spreadsheet.

Hi! Call me Sally, cause that's my preferred name, my online handle is MSallyJ. I'm 73, love to read, not very computer savvy and sometimes the only way I can figure out things is by looking at what someone else has done. I thought this didn't start till Nov 1. If I understand correctly it started Sept 17? Does that mean I should add all the books I've read from there? That would be around 25 books.
where would I enter them? (The Bookstore on the Shore) I just finished mentions eggs pancakes o.j. bread, jam, toast, tea, coffee, peanut butter, ham and cheese sandwich, fish, stew, haggis, mushroom, tomatoes, and probably others I don't recall. It's by Jenny Colgan if any one is interested. An awful lot of cozy mysteries mention food stuff.

If you could make a list of all the books you've read as well as the authors nanes and any of the main characters you can remember from each one, we could use them for spell it outs, for food items you need to know the page number so if you start jotting down the page number in any books you read from now that would be fantastic!!! The challenge started Sept 19, so every book since then counts, Sally!

So just been qorking on the speeadsheet and meals and we now have 54 meals completed x

Not sure how the spell it out works so need some help with that but its looking good so far x

Welcome, Sally! It's great to have you on the team, if you can even get us a few character names or some food names with page numbers from the books you read by tomorrow that would be awesome, if not it's okay and you can start fresh with us in round 2! :)

I'm heading over to the spreadsheet now so I will add the spell it out's in and my two books I finished. I also am answering my DQs for Circe and I will be participating in the YA BOM as well :) This new library app has been pretty great with the audiobooks so far!

I'm not sure if we can use the three books that you had put in that were under 50 pages. I think anything can count but it has to be 50 pages or longer.

I put in the restaurant description, but it's not formatting correctly for me. I also edited some meals and will finish making the rest tomorrow with Circe.

Kirsty and I finished up the spreadsheet so it is all good to do for this round :)
